BuyLaserPointer Company Policies

The "customer" is defined as the credit card holder and/or the person who originally placed the order with any payment method including purchase order and/or any end user of any product or service offered by Buylaserpointer.com or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.

By purchasing or using the products or services offered by Buylaserpointer.com, customer indicates that they are at least 18 years of age and understand that they are fully responsible for the safe application and use of these products and/or services and agree to such by completing the sales process and/or using the products or services offered by Buylaserpointer.com or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.

Returns

All products are rigorously tested before shipping. If item arrives DOA, customer must contact Buylaserpointer.com immediately, either by telephone or through email, in order to receive the correct instructions as to how to proceed. If item is deemed defective by Buylaserpointer.com, Buylaserpointer.com will repair or replace the item at no charge to the customer. customer is responsible for the costs of shipping the defective product back to Buylaserpointer.com. Buylaserpointer.com will cover shipping costs of returning the repaired product back to the customer.

For a more detailed explanation and to receive an RA (Return Authorization) form, customer must contact buylaserpointer.com either by telephone or through email before preparing product to be returned. Any products that are shipped back without an RA # will be refused by the returns department and returned to sender at sender's expense.

Buylaserpointer.com makes no guarantees either expressed or implied as to the suitability of its products for any purpose or application. All products will be provided as per the specifications listed for each product at www.buylaserpointer.com. If a product is received outside of specification it will be treated as defective and will be repaired or replaced under the limited product warranty specified below.

All sales are final with the exception of all handheld battery powered lasers. These lasers can be returned within seven (7) days of receiving the product for a full refund, minus the shipping costs and a 10% lab fee. In the case that the actual cost of shipping incurred by Buylaserpointer.com is higher than that shown on the sales receipt, including in the case of "free shipping", the actual shipping costs incurred by Buylaserpointer.com will be deducted from the refund amount. The customer is responsible for shipping costs of receiving the item from and returning the item to Buylaserpointer.com. The seven (7) days are calculated according to tracking information and effective from the time that the product arrives at the customer'S location to the time that the item is scanned by the courier to be sent back to Buylaserpointer.com. If item has been tampered with in any way, or if there are any components, paperwork, or accessories missing or damaged, Buylaserpointer.com may not issue a refund, and the item will be sent back to the customer at his/her expense. Furthermore, Buylaserpointer.com reserves the right to hold any returned product for testing for up to four (4) weeks if an inspection is deemed necessary by Buylaserpointer.com before making a decision as to whether or not the item qualifies for a refund.

Limited Product Warranty

Buylaserpointer.com warrants to the original purchaser that products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months for handheld battery powered lasers and alignment lasers and a period of one (1) year for laboratory modules from the date of product receipt. If a defect in workmanship or materials is found in a product that has been properly used and maintained as per instructions included with the product, and such product has been returned to Buylaserpointer.com within such warranty period, the product will be repaired or exchanged by Buylaserpointer.com and returned to the shipping address indicated on the original purchase, free of charge. Please note that the customer is responsible for shipping costs of shipping the product back to Buylaserpointer.com.

This warranty is void and Buylaserpointer.com is not responsible for any costs of repair or replacement of any products which have been subjected to misuse, abuse, improper application, improper installation, accident or modification of any kind, or for any product which has been repaired or altered by any party other than Buylaserpointer.com.

Shipping

Some items are in-stock, and others need to be built per-order. All credit card purchases are charged at the time when order is placed. If ETA is required, please contact Buylaserpointer.com at sales@Buylaserpointer.com for lead time. If no inquiry is made regarding shipping time, Buylaserpointer.com will ship the product as soon as possible. If item is not in stock, lead time is usually 3-4 weeks, however some items require a lead time of up to 6-8 weeks. Please note that the website may not reflect actual stock levels. If customer is purchasing products from outside of Canada, the Federal Government may impose taxes and/or duties on the import. customer is to check Federal tax rates before ordering. Generally, Buylaserpointer.com's US bound shipments are free of all duties and taxes. However, some products are taxed at a rate of 3.1% in the USA.

Non-Trackable Air Mail Shipping:

Non-Trackable Air Mail is the least expensive method of shipping worldwide. customer is to note that this service does not offer tracking updates. If customer would prefer tracking information customer is to select a shipping option other then Non-Trackable Air Mail when placing his/her order. customer is also to note that should a package shipped via Non-Trackable Air Mail fail to arrive initiating a trace with the carrier may take up to 45 business days.

Country Specific Import Regulations:

All of Buylaserpointer.com's laser products are legal to import into Canada. All of Buylaserpointer.com's laser products for sale into the United States are certified compliant with FDA regulations, unless they are O.E.M. components in which case they are exempt from these regulations, and as such, all of Buylaserpointer.com's products are legal for import into the United States. customer, as the importer, is responsible for abiding by the import regulations of the country into which the products are being shipped. Buylaserpointer.com does not maintain up to date records of all import regulations and cannot be held responsible for any consequences resulting from shipping products outside of Honh-Kong and China.
